December: A Public Service Announcement

With the holidays coming up, it is a chance for families to get together and celebrate.  But for four families, the holidays are a painful reminder of what has gone missing from their lives nearly forty years ago.  Between 1960 and 1972, four prominent community leaders went missing from their homes.   The disappearances, all involving fathers with ties to the Midwest, has gone largely unnoticed by the American public.  Each man, Ozzie Nelson, Jim Anderson, Steve Douglas, and Alex Stone, had strong connections to his family and neighborhoods with their words and actions extending well beyond their local community. To this day, authorities families, and friends, still have no knowledge of their whereabouts. As a public service, Mr. Marvel is issuing four commemorative MISSING coffee sleeves with the names and personal information of those who went missing. Please take the MISSING sleeve to your favorite local cafe and use it with any hot beverage. When you are done with your drink, leave the cup and MISSING sleeve as a reminder to others about these lost individuals. To help with the search, if you take a picture of the cup and sleeve in the cafe and send it along with the city and state to ajohnathandoe@gmail.com, we will post it on our website, www.mrmarvel.net. We at Mr. Marvel hope you will help us find these individuals and reunite them with their families. Thank you.
